bio

I have a diverse and multicultural background, I spent my formative years growing up in the mega cities of Asia, specifically Shanghai, China and Pune, India, moving to rural village near Bath in the UK for my senior education. At the age of 19, I moved to the Netherlands to study at the Design Academy Eindhoven (DAE), with a 6 month internship in Cape Town, South Africa. After a year living in Barcelona I am currently working in London.

Since a young age i have always been driven by; the random beauty of nature, play, colour and tactility. With a keen observant and intuitive approach to creating. I work with a curious mind, researching and investigating with openness and excitement. Embracing the physicality and intrinsic values of a material rather than bending them to be something they are not. Design infused with an artists visions and sensibilities.
One of my graduation projects, “The Devil and his Lettuce”, was nominated for the Melkweg Award 2020 announced annually in Dutch Design Week, recognises “a truly unique talent among DAE’s Bachelor graduates” for a project that is “both highly original and full of potential,” as well as winning the Kick That Ass award 2020 from Maarten Bass and Lowlands Festival, presented “to a graduate of Design Academy Eindhoven who has used the graduation year to make an authentic work - regardless of advice or assignments - within self-set frameworks”.
